Privacy Policy — Adage: Daily Quotes
Adage: Daily Quotes ("the App") is developed by the Adage project. This policy describes how the App handles your information.
Summary
The App collects, transmits, and stores no personal data. It works entirely offline. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no network requests of any kind.
Data the App uses
The App stores only two kinds of data, both kept locally on your device in Android's standard app-private storage (SharedPreferences file adage_quote_widget):
- The index of the quote currently displayed by each widget instance on your home screen.
- The timestamp of the last daily quote advance, per widget instance.
This data never leaves your device. It is used solely to keep each widget showing a consistent quote across refreshes and to advance the quote once per day. When you remove a widget, its stored data is deleted. When you uninstall the App, all of its data is removed by Android.
Data the App does NOT collect
- No personal identifiers (name, email, phone, address).
- No location data.
- No device identifiers or advertising IDs.
- No usage analytics or crash reports.
- No contacts, photos, or files.
- No network traffic of any kind.
Third parties
The App includes no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries. The only dependencies are Android's own framework and the Kotlin standard library.
Children
The App is suitable for all ages and contains no user-generated content. It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
